Pre-application Checklist
RPL of
11021NAT Certificate IV in English Language Teaching (TESOL)
OR
11020NAT Diploma of English Language Teaching (TESOL)
At this stage, you should have a good idea of the evidence you have for each unit. Submitting the checklist below will send us an email indicating that you understand the evidence requirements for RPL of each unit and that you are confident you can supply this evidence. (This does not guarantee that you will receive RPL as we need to assess your evidence to establish whether it is valid, sufficient, authentic and current.)
Once you have submitted the checklist you will be redirected to our application registration page. Once you have successfully registered you will again be redirected to our “Before You Pay” page which will give you all the information you need to proceed to actual payment.
Mutual Recognition
If you have successfully completed any unit as part of a VET qualification (Vocational education and training) then indicate that you will be seeking Mutual Recognition of that unit and that you have a Certificate or Statement of Attainment listing the unit with exactly the same Unit name and number. We may not give Mutual Recognition for superseded units (different unit number) for this qualification as we will need to map them across to the current units to establish that they satisfy all competencies.
If you do not have evidence to support RPL you may need Gap Training and Assessment
If your previous training and experience do not support RPL we can direct you to a provider offering Gap Training to bridge the gap to the requirements of this qualification.

Partial RPL
After you have completed the RPL process (and any suggested gap training), if you don’t have evidence for a unit, we will issue a Statement of Attainment for all those units for which we granted RPL.
